Road side Chat stalls and others stalls

Hi,
I do feel and ask myself why cant we do anything for the people who are paying the bribe to cheetah squad police in bangalore,Karnataka. I noticed the shops which allows the other chat stalls and others snacks stalls to use the extra space infront of the shops which are not being used by the main shop owners. The owners usually gives them their unused space to those stalls and take rent on monthly basis or daily basis. But I do not understand why cheetah squad do take money from those stalls on daily basis. The cheetah squad come silently and take money from those stalls without any reason.Indeed, they are not the owner of that unused place. I asked one of the stall where I usually go down there every evening. Why do you give these money to those bloody police? He replied me "Shaabji they are the main gundas if we stop them giving money they will come and will not allow us to do business in these place even though this space is not belongs to them,its like hafta to them something similar in mumbai where people give to main boss of the specific area" I do feel bad for those poor people and infact they are bound to charge more from us because if in a single day if he earns 150 rs out of that 20 rs to the main owner and then cheetah squad 20rs and then he has to take out his profit and run his family and his business". I think this complaint will someday put into action save those poor people from the governance of the corrupted so called "Cheetah Squad" which is being launched by Karnataka goverment to protect the society.
