Story of "Building our Home"
I am a working middle class lady. I wanted a small house of our own fro my family i.e. mom and brother in Bangalore back in 2005 - 2006. I tried my best to get a housing loan to build one. I literally worked 7 days in those days coz 5 days at office working in a call centre is already bad and then the 2 days off in which only 1 day some banks worked for few hours I used to run around with all papers to all the banks any one ever mentioned. I dint get any help from any one. Till it came to a point where we had plans of selling off the plot with literally walls of the house only. Then my mom's cousin came to our rescue. He spoke to his bank and they passed my loan with in 2 weeks. I dint have to even pay a single penny. All though at that point I had some offers from people who wanted to get me a loan and take minimum 10% of the loan amount as their "FEE". If this bank could do it I am sure others also could have but I had no clue why they kept denying me the loan.
