Tatkaal Passport in 2003
I needed a Tatkaal passport, I got it in 15 days. After some 8 months, I got a call @ my home to come about the verification.
I went there. They asked me to call some guarentor. I called my neighbour. After all that, they asked me to pay the fees. I was not mature enough to understand the meaning and I asked how much and for what... The lady constable tried to convince me about the fee. I was not sure what to do... then She directly asked for 30 Rs. I was kind of horrified as it was my first bribe. But by looking at my face the lady had some pity on me and allowed me to leave. I was very happy that I didnt pay the bribe.
