There is a Thahsildhar by name Shivappa Lambani who was caught by lokayukta for demanding bribe. when he was thahsildar in bangalore he was arrested and later suspended. But now he is back in the same office for a different division and corruption thrives. He used to demand 1 lakh per acre as bribe for registering/transfer of katha. Is the court and government is blind to corruption? The government is promoting corruption with such people. There are people who will protect such people as they would be getting the bribes. The thahsildar will send to his political connect and that is how the politicians rule. corruption is from the top.
