Tourists targeted at train station by police
Tourist told to stop smoking near Mumbai's main station by a police officer on first visit to country. When same tourist was in similar spot, not smoking, some time later, officer returned and attempted to extort money. They wanted to check what money tourist had before setting an on-the-spot fine amount. Only by playing dumb and pretending they had no money did the tourist manage to avoid paying a bribe - they were threatened with arrest.
