Vehicle from Outside Maharashtra
I was using my motorbike which was registered outside of maharashtra. Since we planned to use it in the state only for a year we did not get it registered in Maharashtra. One fine day A police constable caught us on a signal and started harassing us for the Tax to be paid in Maharashtra and the number plate to be registered in maharashtra. He continuously started abusing us and the state we are from. He said the fines would cost us around 5000 if we go by the legal route. So he convinced us to pay a bribe. I silently was listening to him and was recording this conversation on my Cell phone. I threatened him to take this conversation to the press, as there is no fine in Motor vehicles act which is more than 300 Rs. The constable got offensive and then finally realised his mistake and agreed to leave me without any fine.
