Hi Raghu, I really liked this initiative of yours. I just wanted to know the normal fees/procedure to get a marriage registered. We recently went through this hideous procedure as they said that our marriage happened outside the place where we wanted to register and therefore was a bit complicated. We paid extra money to the person who helped us during the form filling and other things although we did everything on our own still we had to give extra money which he said will be shared with the personnel of marriage registration department for working on it. I have Panchayath Khatha and i have applied for BBMP Khatha. In BBMP they informed me that they will issue A khatha to us. 1. Are they cheating or they are really issuing A khatha to us. They informed me that if the land records is in their book they will issue A khatha to them. They checked the book in front of me and my property was in their book. 2. I dont want to pay the bribe as i have already panchayat khatha its just a transfer to BBMP khatha. Its a week now that i have submitted my application for transfer to bbmp khatha, no answer from them yet. Will they intimate us when the khatha is ready or how is the procedure to get the khatha work done. 3. How to know that the khatha we receive is really A khatha or B Khatha. Any form nos to identify B Khatha and A khatha.

Hi Sir, My name is Ravi. I'm planning to purchase a flat. When I asked for the documents owner does have only sale and construction docs. Property is 15 years old. It does not have Katha, not paid Property Tax and power bill not paid for few years. Owner is saying that he can provide all these. I am purchasing a flat for a agreed value of Rs. 16.50 lacs. The present guidance value for that flat is Rs. 8.50 lacs. Can I register the property @ 8.50 lacs or do I need to register it at 16.50 lacs. I save almost Rs. 70 k by registering it at guidance value and the Bank funding has no objection in me registering at guidance value. Your initiative gives me hope. I live in Jayanagar in southern Bangalore. It is bad enough that the already over commercialized BDA complex portion of our area is bursting at its seams, and new restaurants seem to spring up almost everyday. And now there is a branch of a Bengali hotel in Kormangla opening up in the lane next to ours, which is fairly a residential layout, even though the concerned road is an important main road. Nonetheless, there is absolutely no parking space around, and even without the restaurant, the traffic here is harrowing. What possible violations could the restaurant have made, so we have a strong point of offence? And how can prove them? Also, what approvals are required to be taken to open a commercial establishment in a residential area, in terms of the no of employees, parking space provisions etc, specially for a restaurant?
