Dear Sir/Madam,

We have a gas connection in name of my father. My father has expired and now we want to transfer the gas connection to my mothers name. I have gone to the concerned gas agency with Death certificate of my father, my mothers aadhar card ,pan card & photocopy of bank passbook.
Now the staff at the agency are saying since the bank account whose passbook I was submitting was once registered in name of my father so they cannot transfer it to my fathers name. I told them that the bank account was joint account of my father and my mother after death of my father's death we have submitted the required documents to the bank and now my mother is the sole operator of the account. Moreover, I am submitting death certificate of my father. But the staff there kept on saying that I need to submit some other account on my mothers name.

Now, I do not understand when i am submiting the required documents then why is another account or account no. is needed.
