Every morning at the Vadarapalya, Hennur Cross junction there are traffic cops supposedly regulating the traffic. There are a lot of sand, brick and stone lorries parked around. Instead of regulating the traffic the job of the traffic cops seems to be collecting mamool from the truck drivers. This morning September 12 @ 9:30 AM near ST. Peters Undertakers, I saw a traffic cop bearing badge BCP 12308 collecting money from the truckers and stuffing it into his pocket.
This is a usual scene. In the past e-mails to the DCP and the higher police officials have brooked no response.
Can we do anything about this?
