For the past 18 months I have been trying to register mine and my siblings names to a piece of land which my deceased father owns with my uncle. We all live in UK. The land is near Surat, Gujarat. The Mamlatdar is trying to extort rupees 85000 from us before he will complete the paperwork, this is despite all the paperwork being provided and everything being legal. He want a bribe to do a job for which he is employed to do. The Mamlatdar is holding us for ransom. Who can help me ?
