Form c to be delivered in person
I was running a very very successful business and decided to close down as now I feel the need to retire and relax and also children are settled in different lines of business. I wanted to finish with all vat transactions and close down. Ever since vat was introduced and awas online I never entered the portals of the Commercial taxes office and used to send my staff with the relevent Form C recieved from buyer. Earlier the annual accounts settlement had to be done by me and hence the expected bribe used to be paid for a positive result and trouble free business despite of having a very very clean and white sales deals and well maintained records. Last week when I sent the last of the Form C through my manager the AC refused recieve it and said Me the managing director has to personally go there and submit the form C. I had sent my balance sheets for all years from commencement of business with my product sample too for which i have proof of reciepts. He was so arrogant and rude and i am still with the form C and am unable to close my Vat account,, BUT STILL I WILL NOT GO TO THE OFFICE AND PAY THE RS 4000/- I USED TO PAY when there is this great sould who is going on hunger strike to erradicate corruption.
