Hello,
I have my car registered in another state and want to move to Karnataka. Since I have to travel a lot of distance to the nearest RTO, I have been calling the contact desk given in their website. It is very difficult to get an answer on the phone.
Finally one gentleman answered and when I requested him to let me know the documents that I need to bring with me, his only answer was "Bring all relevant documents".
I said "Definitely sir, but which are those relevant documents?", he said "Usual documents, bring everything".
I said "You mean my driving license, registration document, any others?". He said "Bring that, proof of address, NOC, everything.'
I gave up, because either he did not know anything or he knew everything but wanted to make it look difficult so that money can be extracted later. From my past experiences, they throw up surprises on documents required everytime, and that is why I want to know an exhaustive list so that I can go prepared. Could you help me in the same?
