Hi, I had got a challan from Traffice police inspector for not wearing a healmet while driving near Tambaram. They had asked me to come and pay the fine by meeting the writer and giving a copy of the court order, Helmet bill and another licence proof and then submit the same to them so that they will be able to take us to mobile court. But from mid September, I have not been able to get this completed. Every week I go there by morning, they say that I should come by Monday morning before 8 AM. There is a huge crowd there every Monday morning and they say that they take only first 50 cases and ask all of us to come the next day. There are lot of people who end up taking a leave but then they don't end up getting their fines paid. Why should a individual go thru this harrowing experience? If the High court Judge implemented a condition to have every Police inspector penalize the public who are not wearing a helmet by slapping a case against them, why should they not swiftness in getting the fines paid by the individuals? Every Monday I see a lot of public in anguish and anger in front of the Traffice police outlet at East tambaram. This is becoming very difficult day by day. Please help us address this problem by suggesting a proactive way for addressing the issue.
