Hi,
My left eye is totally blind. I applied for a disability certificate in Jalgaon civil hospital, Maharashtra. While checking, the doctor agreed to my eligibility and even stated that my eye can not be cured and I must try and protect the other eye. But when I received the disability certificate, it showed only 30% disability which is of no use if I want to ask for any benefits.
On the same day, I found an agent who was assisting somebody with the same issue. When asked, he said that everything works on bribe in the hospital. He said if I do it through him, he'll get me a certificate with correct disability percentage. He also went on to say that he has managed to get a 100% disability certificate even for perfectly healthy people.He asked me to reapply and promised that he'll accompany me when the doctor does the check-up.
As I did not want to go by a corrupt route, I came back with the incorrect certificate, but now it is of no use and I do not know what to do. Could you please help?
