Hi.........i live in ahmedabad. recently i have change name of my son from kashish to kevin through gujarat gazet. and i went to his school and request them to change his name with this proof. but they said thaey have no authority to do so. he adviced me to visit municipal corporation and make change in birth certificate. but municipal corporation says that they required bonafied certi ( with kevin name to change name) than only they can change name in birth certificate. but school is saying that they can not issue bonafied certi with new name as nameof my son is kashish as per old records. school people say that we can change name only after changing name in birth certificate.but munucipal corporation is not ready to change name without bonafied certi ( with new name kevin )of school. so school are sending me to municipal corporation and municipal corporation sending me to school. both are saying that
