I applied for reissue of my passport on 23/05/17. After the entire process within two days my passport had been dispatched to my address.

I have given the permanent address in passport with supporting documents as i am living in different places for my job, At present in Mumbai. It all seemed fine. I had my passport in my hand.

Now 15 days later my father received a letter from RPO stating "Adverse Police Verification Report". It stated that My passport will be cancelled if I don't give clarifications.

I called RPO, Ranchi for the same. They said I have to come personally to restart the process. How can I travel so far? This is very harassing.

Please suggest me the needful.
