I belongs to Raisinghnagar tehsil of Ganganagar. I am planning to buy a house in the month of August and while asking about the registration process I got to know about "COMMISION". So in Raisinghnagar there is this bribe culture where we have to pay 1% of property value to the sub registrar for getting our sale deed registered. I wondered why it is not reported, so I got to know that generally people do not register the property according to market value(they register it on amount a bit more than DLC rate) to save the registration and stamp duties charges, and that saving is much more that that 1% bribe. So its a win-win situation for both parties. Other problem in reporting is that bribe is collected through some third party people in the name of sub registrar. In my case I will be registering it on market value. What is best way of avoiding this?
