I got married in the year 1991. At that time I was residing in Delhi where the marriage took place. Since 1993, I shifted to Gujarat and am presently residing in Ahmedabad. All the address proofs that I have are now of my present address. I need the marriage certificate to get a residence visa for my wife to accompany me abroad where I will be working for a few years. I want to know whether I can get the certificate from Ahmedabad? If yes, then what will the procedure be? I have my marriage card, photographs of the marriage and witnesses like my parents and sister, all of whom are here.
