I had a DL valid till 2/5/15. I was to leave for USA for some personal visit during march 15. Iwould not be availably in the country till 8/15. I approached the RTO concerned for advise as to how to renew my DL. The advise was to aplly fir renewal after return and pay the fine. Is this so? No way to renew without fine? With this I could not even apply for IDL also.
