I have a commercial car in my name.The vehicle is driven by a Driver.Yesterday i recived a challan to be present in the court under motor vehicle act on 6th feb..The case is between the govt and Driver .The vehicle is not in use from the last 10 months.Earlier it was used as a taxi.Now i do not know where the driver is and what violation was done by the driver.What may be maximum panelty.What does court challan under motor vehicle act mean.
