I have residential plot 3350sft at Atthipattu village, Ambattur tk, and i got batta in my name in last year and i approched VAO to get Chitta and adangal, but officer said you have to pay tax for vacant land called urban land tax about Rs.8000/-, he said have to pay tax from the year 1991, i like to know what is the actual tax part and what base have to calculate the tax. Kindly guide me. Thanks.
