I missed that there was a signal for left and it was not a free left...
I missed that there was a signal for left and it was not a free left turn. The police constable took my license and asked me to come to the court next day. I have 2 questions
1. Can they demand to check my papers even if I have been stopped for a traffic violation and confiscate my papers?
2. If I am willing to pay a spot fine can they still take my papers and ask me to visit the court/police station?
3. Can they give me a receipt for higher amount by lying to me what the actual fine is? This has happened to me earlier.
