I want to change surname in my birth certificate. My birth place
I want to change surname in my birth certificate. My birth place is Botad. And my village is Jalila near botad and ranpur district.
However I am living now in Surat city.
Actually I got passport but there is a mistake in my parents surname due to reason of my birth certificate's mistake. Now I need to change my surname in Birth certificate and want also English translation copies of Birth certificate. So please help me, how can I change it soon because I wanna go to study abroad. And I don't have much time.
I contacted Ranpur district office but they didn't give me satisfied answer and told me that it will be never change and also the officer said me that I must have to go in court.
So please suggest me better way of it.
