I was in Bangalore for a few days for a concert, I reside in Chennai, I was stopped at Adugodi Signal, for the charge of 1. Zig Zag Driving, 2. Reckless Dangerous Driving, 3. Defective silencer, I was then told my vehilce was to be seized, and a fine amount of 2500 would be levied and I had to go to court to pay the fine and release my vehicle, I had done the same, and returned with the court challan and the Original RC book of the vehicle and was then told the bike was to be seized for a month, and if I was to take the bike I would have to surrender the Original RC book, I gave in and surrendered it, Now I am afraid I have been taken for a ride, and I was informed I had to come back to the station in 10 days and take an acknowledgement slip and give it to my local Chennai RTO and take my bike papers back. Please point me in the right direction.
P.S bike is TN registered, and i do not reside in Bangalore.
