I was carrying one single malt from Goa to Hyderabad with a permit

I was carrying one single malt from Goa to Hyderabad with a permit slip for Orissa (as there is non for Telangana). I was stopped at Karnataka border by border police and shown a board of Karnataka govt not allowing liquor by one police man. Then they started to shout unnecessary, saying it’s illegal they will seize the vehicle and liquor will be kept with them..
finally one police man came out and asked me bribe for half the price of bottle..
I really want to know the legitimate way of carrying liquor to Hyderabad from goa
