My father in law has a licence for a double barrel gun. he is 84 years old and lives on the estate. my wife is his only off spring thus I have recently started taking care of the estate. since my father in law is getting old I wish to inherit the gun thus i wish to go through a legal procedure of obtaining a gun licence. is it better for the time being to get a retainer licence and later regularise the same.
