My fiancee is an American citizen of Indian origin. He will be in India for only a week during which we would like to get married and also have the marriage registered.
1. Is he required to be present before the SDM for registration formalities or can I do it on my own?
2. Which SDM's office do I need to contact? I live in Vasant Kunj.
3. Do we need to hire an agent or is the paperwork and other formalities fairly simple?
