My initial appointment letter was issued in the name of Amit Kumar Roy as per my School leaving certificate, since last 30 years my salary was released in the name of Amit Roy. In all other official documents like PAN card CMPF A/c etc. are in the name of Amit Roy. My promotion orders were also issued and joined in the promoted post during my service period as Amit Roy. Even the company has issued Retirement Notice in the name of Amit Roy on 04/11/2013. Now all on a sudden company has issued a letter stating that changing the name from Amit Roy to Amit Kumar Roy for the reason being my name was mentioned as Amit Kumar Roy based on school leaving certificate. To rectify this anomaly my name which was Amit Roy was duly published in leading local newspapers. An Affidavit was duly sworn before Executive Magistrate as per law, the copy of the same has already been submitted to the company for which no cognince has been taken into account.
Please advise me what legal action has to be taken so that my name will be AMIT ROY in records for all purposes instead of Amit Kumar Roy.
