My permanent driving licence (issued by RTO - Ahmedabad, Gujarat) is getting expired on 25th May2014. Since I am posted at Hyderabad these days, I submitted a request to the RTO office- Hyderabad for the RENEWAL of my driving licence (non-transport). However they refused by saying that it can be done from the Ahmedabad RTO authority only, or otherwise I need to go to Ahmedabad and bring a NOC to get it done at Hyderabad. Please guide as it's not feasible for me to go to Ahmedabad.
