My phone was snatched in public place at gurukul road by three guys on a bike. We tried chasing him but we lost them because of their rough driving even in traffic. Me and my friend were sent to 3 police stations till we found; under which station area exactly theft occurred. Policemen were asking for affidavit to log a complaint for stolen phone.He even gave us other option than filing a complaint i.e to simply provide full details and then wait for more than 2 months. They will get back as soon as phone is used. Should I go for this or focus on logging complaint. Is it necessary to make affidavit and if yes what is the procedure?
