My vehicle was moving on left on state highway. An auto from the opposite side was on its left. While it almost came to cross my vehicle,the auto driver took sudden right(may be to escape the pothole). My driver applied brake (It is a new vehicle and woman and child were inside,my driver was driving at normal speed and no injury to all of us inside the car) and in no time the auto which was in high speed,lost its controll and rammed my vehicle. We came out of the car to see and since there were fleet of vehicles,on the move,some ppl asked us to park the car to the extreme left to ease the commutation to other vehicles. Then we managed to inform to 108 and police controll room 100. One police constable came asked us to come to the station. I wrote what happend on a paper and gave it to him. I asked him for the acknowledgement but he said his superior is not in station and asked me to come the next day. Later in the afternoon I was told that the driver of the auto died.
I received FIR copy in which it is mentioned , the complaint given by relatives of the auto driver,stating that his auto was parked on the left side of the road waiting for them (relatives). And my car came on the other side of the road to over take the front vehicle and hit the auto which was parked.
I felt very sad reading the complaint mentioned in FIR. What happend was entirely different from what is mentioned in their complaint in FIR.
Please advice me on how to handle this further. I wish for a clean justice.
