Please can you tell that when a signboard is totally corroded and is not in a position to read and somebody has roughly with white paint and bad handwriting has written as no entry, is it permissible for the traffic police to fine as no entry. Because twice i have been fined at the same place and when asked the traffic police they said it is not their duty to install signboards and it is duty of other department. Infact just before that not even 1 km there is another new signboard as no entry so we thought that from there it might be no entry cause at two places there cant be as no entry.
Can you please guide me where to inquire about the details of signboards installed in the city and how one should know which signboard is correct cause they don't bother to remove the old signboards whenever ever a new one is installed and fine people for both sinages.
