Please provide me an insight on the below:
A vehicle can be fined in case of:
1. Alteration of Vehicle - Subject to violation of RC (change in color of vehicle, defective number plate, etc)
2. Defective silencer ( Silencer damaged and emitting out too much carbon, pollution)
Please state under what condition is Having a modified silencer/exhaust illegal?
Please note the silencer is brought from the major market in the city from a legalized shop in JC Road. If the selling of these items are legal, why is it illegal to use them.
Please also note if, the sound from these exhaust is the problem, companies like Royal Enfield and Harley Davidson should be banned in India.
I recently paid a heavy bribe for the same. Please help me with the entire details on the same, so that I can lodge a valid complaint against the police for the same.
