Police came to my house for passport verification, called me twice…

Reported on April 19, 2014 from Pune , Maharashtra  ι Report #40278

Police came to my house for passport verification, called me twice to sign and submit documents at the Pune Vishrantwadi police station. After all this was done, 15 days later my status for applied passport in passportindia.gov.in website showed "report submitted by Vishrantwadi police station, awaiting review by commissioner of police, Pune".
Police did not ask me for a bribe and also I did not give any money.
It has now been more then a month that my verification report is awaiting review by commissioner of police, Pune. After 1 month, I emailed cp.pune@nic.in asking for status and suggesting for them to have a website where passport applicants can check the status online, and also suggestions which would also save police time and efforts needed for the verification process.
I saw a reply with the mail forwarded to dcpfrosb.pune@nic.in and pipassport.pune@nic.in asking the mail be forwarded to DCP SB2.
However, I am still to get a reply how much time commissioner office will take to review the police report. As they never asked for money, I dont know if they are just waiting for me to go and pay them.
Can you let me know how much time is required and what I need to do?
