Police challenged me that I will never get my passport.
Well, I think we as Indians don't have any option other than to pay bribe. Either you know someone or just pay bribe. I was called to police station for verification purpose, where I was asked to pay the same amount as I have paid as application fee. I told them that they issued a receipt, will you do the same.
To which the in-charge just challenged me that I will never get my passport in my life. I did go to SP office but got kind of same reply.
This is what India is, and the way public services treat their citizen. For your info I am a Ex service ********** who has served 32 years in Indian Army. I just needed passport to see my kids. At times I feel its better they are not around, who wants to live in this "jungle **********" anyway.
