Regarding the ways in which corruption can be brought down through systemic reforms, The new laws that are on the anvil, aim to bring about time limits for the provision of government services. In the absence of such adherence to time limits, the new laws prescribe punishments for officials. let us hope that such measures will also reduce the incidence of corruption dramatically.



As regards whether Indians behave like slaves, it is up to us not to behave like slaves. As long as we continue to behave in that fashion, even if we have a Lokpal Act, we will not see much difference in corruption at the local level.

First point. Please get these cities added so that it could be reported. Second point, apart from fighting the corrupt we shall be fighting the current system. To get the processes clearly defined without many loophole. For example: When I take my registry there is no mention of when the revenues department received it. What objections they have raised? Also, in the process it shall be mandated that a all the issues with registry documents shall be communicated in one go. It shall not be once they will reject it for some correction, then for some other and on and on. Similarly, all the government departments shall define there processes. Only this can prevent some corruption and give some written record for a requestee to take his/her case forward with higher authorities or court. Because, Its bitter truth that by and large, most of the Indians are corrupt and still have slavery tendency. Who gets some power starts thinking like king and other people who start acting as slaves. There is no right of equality. Saab is Saab and rest everyone is just non-existant. I am exhaust and giving hope that there will be any good Lokpal bill or any other way to stand against corrupt system.
