There is no fee for filing an FIR. The Havaldar is fooling you. <br>Please also take a little care of your mobile! From your post it seems as if you have lost several of them!<br>

Is there any cost involve to Fill a FIR. as i belong to delhi-NCR and police Hawaldar always charge Rs 100 for mobile lost FIR and said Rs 100 is the fee to write this kind of FIR and these are the order from his officers.. so my question is "is he lying or telling a truth". i am little confused because when i go for similar kind of FIR for my friend in Dehradun (uttrakhand) they charge nothing.
