We have a daughter of 6 year old. We had registered her birth with the TANMAYEE. K. when she was just 15 days old. Later we changed her name to TANU KOUSTUBHA .K.M. and we had admitted to preschool with the new name. Now she has admitted to first standard to other school where they are using her old name in school documents. To change it to the new name they are asking for the change of name in the birth certificate. For the same purpose we visited Tumkur muncipal office, where they told it can be done but both names with alias will be there in the certificate. We felt child's first certificate let it with her new name. What should we do to have only new name in the certificate?
