What is the bribe amount to get driving licience of light motar vehicle four wheeler in Mumbai Santacruz?
You do not have to pay a bribe to get your Driving License for your car!
You need to collect Form CMV 4 and submit it along with learner’s license, 3 passport sized photographs, proof of age of 18 years and proof of address to the Assistant RTO officer. You will have to make a payment of Rs 50 for test, Rs 40 for DL card and Rs 215 for PVC to the cash counter.
You will get a call for a test the same afternoon. If you clear the test, you will have to click a photograph in front of a webcam and the license will be made available to you to the next day. If not, you have to re appear for the test in 7 days.
Please avoid paying bribes. You may be asked to pay a bribe by the inspector who is taking your test. Do not succumb to that. He cannot fail you if you are a good driver! If during the application process you are asked for a bribe, then very firmly deny it. Tell the officer very loudly, so that everyone around you can hear, that you wont pay a bribe and that if he demands a bribe, you will take the matter to his superior. Remember, that it is not only the bribe taker, but also the bribe giver who is contributing equally to the menace of corruption.
