Hi Raghu, this is about the garbage collection responsibility of the municipal corporation. I own a cafe and I collect my days garbage in a bucket sized bin that is kept closed the entire night (to keep safe from dogs / rodents etc). However the garbage collection van holds us to ransom by demanding Rs. 600 - 1000 per month to collect this garbage. While I understand that this is a "dirty" job, and I do help them from time to time, however I feel cheated when money is demanded from me. Even around my residence building where I have initiated a clean green drive, the cleaners demand money to even sweep the sides of the streets. If they are paid, they simply make untidy piles and burn the garbage in lots, including plastics and other harzadous material. Please advise.

I have Panchayath Khatha and i have applied for BBMP Khatha. In BBMP they informed me that they will issue A khatha to us. 1. Are they cheating or they are really issuing A khatha to us. They informed me that if the land records is in their book they will issue A khatha to them. They checked the book in front of me and my property was in their book. 2. I dont want to pay the bribe as i have already panchayat khatha its just a transfer to BBMP khatha. Its a week now that i have submitted my application for transfer to bbmp khatha, no answer from them yet. Will they intimate us when the khatha is ready or how is the procedure to get the khatha work done. 3. How to know that the khatha we receive is really A khatha or B Khatha.
