For correcting my mother's name in my birth certificate.
I applied for it 2 months back. But there were lack of certificates and evidence required. So I send all the documents required after i got their letter indicating the documents required. After that , 3 weeks gone without happening. So i went to the Coorpertaion office in trivandrum. File is still in the initial desk. No change. I went directly to the officer there. After 3 more visits in a week, I got the corrected birth certificate. The officer is honest since he didnt ask money. But the system is very slow.. actually stationary.
