Didnt have to pay bribe at Mahadevpura Police Station
My wife was called for the passport verification at Mahadevpura P.S. and I accompanied her. After waiting for few minutes the constable came and started verifying the documents. The same constable had come earlier to my house to call us to the Police station and that time he was very rude ! Seeing the same constable at P.S I was very much sure that he is going to take atleast few bucks from me.
He checked the papers and got my wife signed on few of the papers and then rechecked the papers again. Finally, he said that its done and we can leave. I couldn't believe that he is asking us to go without any bribe and I just looked to him blankly and he also looked back and said again "Its done !. You may leave".
I felt relieved and came out of the P.S satisfied thinking that there are still good government employees left in our country.
