I had kept it ready in my pocket!
The policeman for my police verification asked me to visit the station several times, I was ready to pay a bribe and I had even kept it ready in my pocket! Yet, he did not indicate any such thing. Turned out the policeman was actually verifying my application thoroughly for security reasons and not to extract bribe from me. I was ashamed of my thinking and am proud of such policemen.
