No action after complain
I am resident of village Bhurkamunda, Jharsuguda. From 2006 Vedanta Aluminium limited established one Aluminium smelter which is very close to residential areas. We are very much affected by the noise and harmfull coal dust emission, bad odour gas emission. Due to high level noise it becomes uneasy to live here but we are bound because nobody is there to listen us. Against this we have given complain so many times to District Administration, Regional Pollution Control Board(Sambalpur) and State Pollution Control Board( Bhubaneswar) but not a single investigation or any action taken.
The one reason I have deduced Company have so many for brive but I don't have to pay bribe.
