No response from Kurnool Municipal Corporation
Ganesh Nagar is in the heart of Kurnool City and residents of Ganesh Nagar pay their taxes regularly and in time. HOwever, the locality does not have hygienic atmosphere as for the last two years the authorities have not cared to close a parallel drainage which they dug for road widening. This has resulted in mosquito and pig menace as the drainage has become a breeding area for mosquitoes and pigs. On top of this the road running parallel to the drainage is a red top one and scores of vehicles ply on this road resulting in red soil dust that raises when ever these vehicle ply and causing distress to the residents of Ganesh Nagar. No action has been taken up inspite of lot many request to do something to over come this hazard.
