Police Processing Fee

I got a call from my local police station area for verification of documents that i have submitted to passport office. Then i went to police station and ask him wat documents need to be submitted???.He told me everything and last he told me about a processing fees of 1500. I told him that will u provide receipt of that RS 1500. He told me to come after 2 weeks .I went after 2 weeks and again he told me told to come after 1 month. I went after 1 month he told me that we have not receive your file and he told me to go.Next day i went and given RS 1200 and file got verified!!!
Thane Police sucks!!!
