Hi; I have approached my local municipal office to get a marriage certificate, initially clerk requested to get required papers which are missing (like marriage hall receipt). After that he asked to pay 1116/- to give the certificate otherwise I have to wait for 3 - 6 months to get that; I was working in Bangalore and need that certificate to cover my wife in company medical insurance. My travel charges would exceed 2000 to make another trip, so I have agreed and paid bribe to get my certificate. Its very unfortunate that I have accepted the system and I was part of the corruption.
