Hi,
I am Ja,wrking as a S/W engineer in bangalore. One bad weekeday I was driving on the service road to get some groceries. Its on service road so I was not wearing helmet, however, I have kept it in my bike's helmet lock. Unfortunately I was caught by TRAFFIC police and had been asked to show all the documents. Later, I was asked to pay for not wearing helmet, I argued to understand whether it was a rule to wear helmet while driving in service road or its just 'AT TIME' rules applied to get money. After long dispute, they scared me that they would fine me 1000rs for traffic violations of not wearing helmet and over speeding on service road. I was not having enuf money except 20 rs and SODEXO passes to get groceries. And do you know ? what I had to pay to free from there ? 20rs and 40rs worth sodexo pass. Are the traffic police systems of karnataka gone so cheap to take 20rs as bribe? . Morever, even those traffic polices were not wearing the helmet.
