Police officer in charge to conduct address verification regarding my application for new passport asked to pay bribe of Rs.1000 to clear verification even though application was legitimate and all the address proofs were furnished.
Officer called to meet at Police Station to furnish information. Kept us waiting for more than 3 hrs.
