I just want to inform you how it goes on the army........ for officers after the rank of brigadier every thing is on the house. please check the electricity bill of officers of brig and above who hold key appointments that all though they live in fully ac houses( incl the cheif) they pay minimal elec bills. the other misuse of funds which is rampant is regimental funds which are meant for welfare of troops but are normally used for parties and other wasteful expenditure. excessive and unauthorized use of service personnel/transport/facilities( a young officer can not get accommodation in delhi while transiting because these are rented out to senior officers for the marriage of their children or relatives at much lower than civil rates. it is disgusting as these guys are all righteous and lecturing all and sundry all the time.
